With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dale E. Greene on May 8, 2025, at the age of 67. A devoted father, proud grandfather, and loyal friend, Dale leaves behind a legacy rooted in love, hard work, and kindness.Born on December 26, 1957, to Carl E. Greene and Vera H. Greene, Dale was raised with strong values that guided him throughout his life. He was the beloved father of Taylor A. Greene and the cherished grandfather of Luna J. Romero, both of whom brought him immense joy and pride.Dale spent his life working with his hands, known for his honesty, dedication, and craftsmanship—a man who took pride in a job well done and never cut corners.He loved the outdoors: early mornings in the woods hunting, afternoons with a pole in his hand and a line in the water, and evenings filled with conversation and laughter among friends. He had a deep appreciation for music, especially the kind that told a story, and often found meaning in moments others might overlook. In quiet times, he’d speak of life as if it were a river—calm some days, stormy on others, and every so often, the glint of something unfamiliar approaching from the horizon, like a white boat slowly making its way upstream.Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Vera Greene. He is survived by his daughter, Taylor A. Greene; granddaughter, Luna J. Romero; brother, Michael Greene; nephews; and many extended family members and friends.A memorial service will be held at a later date. Friends and loved ones will be notified once details are finalized.In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Dorchester Paws in Dale’s honor.Dale will be deeply missed and remembered with love, his memory living on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
