Daneri Mortuary
Anna Marie Andalora
March 20th, 1931 - May 8th, 2025
Anna (or Nana, as she has affectionately been called most of her life) is survived by her three children, Michael Andalora, Mary Anne Kifer, and Suzanne Johnson. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Mike Kifer, Steven Kifer, Jason Andalora, Diana Abad, Stefanie Reibel, and Shawn Johnson, as well as her great-grandchildren, Kaelyn, Josh, Joseph, Caleb, Caston, Aveline, Rose, and Rocco. Survived by her longtime partner, Sam Mazzarello, and preceded by her loving husband, Joseph Andalora.
Anna was the youngest of thirteen children born to her father, Leonard Locastro, and mother, Antoinette Locastro. She was born in Erie, Pennsylvania. She met Joe and married in 1950, and they eventually moved to San Jose, CA. They were married for 46 years before Joe's passing. Anna was well-known throughout her life for her vibrancy, love of life, her absolutely phenomenal cooking, her dancing, fishing, and her love for her family, the Italian community, and the communities of Jackson, CA, and San Jose, CA.
Anna (Nana) absolutely lived her life her way; she pulled no punches, loved incredibly hard, and would absolutely dance to Frank Sinatra at 6 am on a Sunday to get you moving for the day. Her absence will be felt by so many, and she touched so many lives.
"And now, the end is near
And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I traveled each and every highway
And more, much more than this
I did it my way."
Services for Anna will be held on May 23, 2025, at 12:30 pm, at the Los Gatos Memorial Park, 2255 Los Gatos Almaden Rd. San Jose, CA 95124.
