Eduardo "Pando" Sanchez
December 27th, 1951 - April 30th, 2025
In loving memory of precious moments. En amoroso recuerdo de momentos preciosos.
Eduardo “Pando” Sanchez was a beloved father, brother, grandfather, uncle and long time friend who passed away at the age of 73. He was adored by his neighbors and friends in the community of a few nearby towns around the local area. Pando would call his friends every single day laughing and joking with them. He'd call his family and check in on them and joke around as well.
Pando was a very creative and resourceful man, he taught himself to become a skilled auto body technician who made dents look like they were even never there. He was a perfectionist in his work.
He was very old school, he preferred not to carry a smart phone but a flip phone. On his spare time and on work hours he'd listen to spanish music stations on a portable am/fm radio.
On his spare time he'd create things, little pieces of art. He bought a case of beers that advertised the Raiders football team and cut the Raiders logos out of the empty cans and made a small collection of Raiders logo decorations. He then handed them out to friends and family who were fans of the football team or to those not much of a fan of the Raiders team just so they can have a piece of cool art made by him.
His unique personality will forever live on in our hearts. His deep connection with his roots and love for creating something out of nothing will be forever cherished.
A viewing will be held Friday, May 16, 2025 from 1-5pm at Healey Mortuary with a Chapel Blessing at 3:30pm.

We Entrusted Eduardo Sanchez's Care To
Healey Mortuary
At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
