Glendora "Glennie" M Peterson

In Loving Memory
Glendora “Glennie” Peterson joined her husband and son on May 15, 2025. She was born in Aitkin on July 13, 1931 to Ludwig and Elizabeth Unhjem. Glendora married Burton Peterson, and together they found a love of travel, visiting many states and countries. She worked as an LPN at the Moose Lake State Hospital for 21 years. She liked gardening, sewing, and quilting. Being a wonderful cook, there were many family dinners hosted, as well as entertaining several friends and relatives. Her specialty was apple pie. In the later years she was involved with the Barnum Senior Center enjoying fellowship and games.
Glennie is preceded in death by her husband, Burton; son, Gerald; parents, Ludwig and Elizabeth; sister, Margaret.
She is survived by her children, Charles (Delite) Unhjem, Barbara (Ronald) Kunelius, Lorin Peterson; daughter in-law, Debbie Peterson; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Evergreen and St. Croix Hospice for your tender care.
Visitation will be an hour before the 11am service at Mahtowa Covenant Church on Friday, May 23, 2025. The luncheon will follow the interment at Mount Salem Cemetery.
