Betty Ann Mott was born March 14th, 1933, to Ruth and Conrad Buhrman, at their home in St. Libory, Nebraska. She was number four of nine children, one of three girls.
Betty graduated from Grand Island Senior High School in 1951 and went to Omaha for further education. In January 1953, Betty ventured off to Washington, DC, where she arrived in time for the inauguration of President Eisenhower.
Betty then worked for the Department of The Navy at the Pentagon for several years.
She moved to Colorado with her sister Marion and family. She worked at Burns Trust and Reality until meeting Joe Mott.
They married on April 12th, 1958, in Colorado Springs. They were married 65 years before Joe passed away in 2024.

Her family continues to grow and includes 8 sons and daughters-in-law, 25 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren (with three on the way), and one great-great-grandchild.
