Forever loved and always remembered
Daniel Joseph Pirosko, age 51, passed away on May 20, 2025, in Mesa, Arizona. Known mostly as Danny by his family and Dan at work, he was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Pirosko, his mother, Karen Pirosko (nee’ Randall) and his sister, Patricia McCune (David). He is survived by many who loved him. His wife of 18 years, Laura (nee’ Miller). Laura supported Daniel in all he would do. She enjoyed spending time with him traveling to Ohio to visit family, going to movies and trying new places for dinner. Siblings Mary Georgio (Alan), Michelle Pavlik (Robert), and Tracy Sanek (Aaron) and brother-in-law of Melissa Venham (Donald). Devoted uncle of 18 nieces and nephews.Daniel was a dedicated United Airlines ramp agent of 31 years. He spent majority of his career in Cleveland, OH until he relocated in 2014 to Phoenix, AZ. At United, he made several great friends that he felt were like family. Dan never did tell the story of how his infamous nickname, Killer, at work came to be, but he would get a sly smile whenever it was mentioned.Dan was a 1993 graduate of Strongsville High School and Polaris Career Center. He loved to watch sports. As a longtime resident of Northeast Ohio, he lived the ups and downs of the Cleveland Sports rollercoaster all his life. He was a passionate fan of all three teams, especially the Browns. Dan was also known to be quite an animal lover of dogs and cats. He had such a special connection with them that he was often called an "Animal Whisperer" by his mother.A celebration of Daniel's life will take place at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Strongsville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens in Brunswick, Ohio. The date and time to be determined.Memorial donations can be made to the Angels for Animals Fund at the Berea Animal Rescue in Berea, Ohio.
