Judith A. Carrier

udith A. (Vickery) Carrier, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025, at the age of 86 with her family by her side. Born on April 23, 1939, in Middleborough, MA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Roy B. and Evelyn L. (Small) Vickery. Although Judith's early years were spent in Springfield, she formed cherished memories on her grandparents' land in Middleborough during this time. In 1969, she and her family made South Hadley their home.  Throughout her life, Judith was fiercely devoted to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Carrier in 2018, and her daughter, Linda Breckenridge in 2012. Judith is survived by her sons: Robert (and his wife, Elsa) Michael (and his wife, Gail), Ron (and his wife, Anita), Paul (and his wife, Gina), and Dean; her sister, Betty Easton; along with 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren with one on the way, all of whom were her pride and joy. Judith enjoyed her time teaching and playing Mah Jong with others, as well as she always found comfort and enjoyment with reading a good book. A visitation will be held on May 30, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a service at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Judith will be laid to rest in a private burial. The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the South Hadley Council on Aging. She touched the lives of many, and her memory will endure in the hearts of all who knew her.
