Barbara Jean Shupe 70, of Hiltons went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at her son’s home with her family by her side. She was born in Coeburn, VA to the late Fancler and Lokeel Mutter. 

 

Barbara retired from Rally Mart where she made many friends over the years. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Shupe; grandson, Calum Shupe.

 

Survivors include her son, Joel Shupe and wife Erika; grandchildren, Cole, Syler, and Hayden Shupe, Aiden Glenn, and Abby Estepp; sisters, Shirley Caldwell and Peggy Lopp; special sister, Brenda Ward; special brother, Richard Isaacs; along with a host of friends and extended family.

 

The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Scott County Funeral Home. A

 

Celebration of Life Service will follow with Pastor Richard Isaacs and Pastor Steven Vanzant officiating.
