It is with broken hearts and unwavering faith that we announce the passing of Vinod Jude Joseph (fondly known as Chicco), aged 48, who went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. Vinod was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, cousin, uncle and friend whose life was marked by faith, humility, and devotion to others.

Vinod was born in 1976 in Kerala, India, to the late Dr. K.O. Joseph (James Kalampadan) of the Kalampadan family and Elizabeth Joseph, of the Palathinkal family. He was the cherished older sibling of Riya Joseph, married to Rejith G.R of the Ayirathil Puthan Veedu family.

He spent his formative years in Chennai (Madras), India, where he completed his schooling at Union Christian Matriculation Higher Secondary School in 1994. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and  communication from the University of Madras in 1998. From a young age, Vinod was known for his quiet brilliance, warmth, integrity, compassion and ever-present smile.

Vinod married Jeena John of the Adappoor family in Kerala. Together, they built a life centered around faith, love, and joy, and were blessed with a daughter, Joanne Elsa Joseph, who brought him immeasurable happiness and pride.

Vinod dedicated nearly three decades to a successful career in the Information Technology industry in the United States, serving in roles including Quality Assurance Engineer, Lead Software Engineer and Manager. His professionalism, thoughtfulness, and leadership were appreciated by all who worked with him.

A devout member of his church community, Vinod lived a life of service and quiet strength. He found joy in watching movies, traveling, and spending time with those he loved. He was known for always wearing a warm, welcoming smile, a reflection of his gentle heart and kind spirit. His life was a testament to grace, kindness, and steadfast faith.

Vinod is lovingly remembered and survived by his wife, Jeena John, and daughter, Joanne Joseph, of Parker, Colorado; his mother, Elizabeth Joseph, in India; his sister, Riya Joseph, and her husband, Rejith George, in India as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family across the U.S. and India.

A funeral mass and prayer service in loving memory of Vinod Jude Joseph will be held at Ave Maria Catholic Church, 9056 E. Parker Rd., Parker, CO on Saturday, June 7th, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Directly following the services, interment will take place at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery – Our Lady of the Visitation, 34201 County Road 33, Kiowa, CO.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Sky Ridge Medical Center and HCA HealthONE (TMCA) for the care, kindness, and dignity they offered Vinod during his final days. They are also deeply grateful to the many family members, friends, neighbors, and church communities—across the U.S., India, and beyond—who supported them through their prayers, encouragement, and acts of love. Your presence, faith, and compassion have been a great source of comfort and strength.
