Madisen "Maddy" August Taylor
May 11th, 1999 - May 24th, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Madisen August Taylor, beloved daughter, sister, fiancé, and friend, who departed this world on May 24, 2025, at the young age of 26 as the result of a tragic motorcycle accident. Born on May 11, 1999, in Northampton, MA, Madisen was a vibrant and spirited individual whose presence brought joy to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Maddy spent her formative years in Ware, MA, she attended Pathfinder High School. Her passion for horticulture and gardening developed during her education, reflecting her deep appreciation for the beauty of nature. She later made her home in Agawam, MA, where she found joy in caring for animals, particularly her beloved Pomeranians, Sadey and Hank.
In her professional life, Madisen dedicated her time to working in a dog daycare business, embracing her love for dogs. This career not only highlighted her nurturing nature but also her desire to bring happiness to the lives of others.
Madisen's spirit was one of vibrant kindness; she had a smile that could light up a room and she gave the best hugs. She loved to sing, go on adventures, and spend time outdoors taking walks at the Quabbin Reservoir and enjoying the Swift River. Her fascination with botanical gardens underscored her love for the natural world.
She is survived by her devoted parents, Gene Taylor of Ware, MA, and Jeanette (Bourgault) Taylor of Three Rivers, MA; her dear sister, Autumn Dube of Three Rivers, MA; her fiancé, Ian Methot, with whom she shared her life in Agawam, MA; and her aunts Rita, Eileen and her husband Lyle, uncles Larry and Art and his wife Linda, many cousins, and friends. Madisen's loving and warm personality made a significant impact on the lives of those who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
In honor of her life, calling hours will be held at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, from 4:00PM-7:00PM. To honor her bright sprit, please wear colorful clothing instead of black to the calling hours. Burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for plants or potted flowers that they can plant in a garden to keep her memory and spirit alive. Madisen's legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and she will forever be remembered for her bright smile, kind soul, and the love she gave so freely to all who crossed her path.
The GoFundMe will remain up to help with any cost the family may have https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-us-put-maddy-to-rest
