Charles Hubert "Boo" Boulet, 84, of Hopkins, South Carolina passed away on May 27, 2025 at Warriors Walk surrounded by his loving family. Born on May 5, 1941, in Barnesville, Ohio, he was the son of the late Gaston and Helen (Anderson) Boulet. 

 

A dedicated and decorated U.S. Army veteran, Charles honorably served his country for 20 years, including completing two tours in Vietnam. His commitment to service extended beyond the military as he spent an additional 24 years working in EMS at Fort Jackson before retiring. He was a passionate sports enthusiast and cherished every moment spent with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren.

 

Charles is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Linda Welch Boulet; his son, Todd Boulet, and wife Kelly of Cayce, SC; his three grandchildren, Jordyn, Nathan, and Matthan; and his brothers, Dean Boulet of Everett, PA and Scott Boulet of Burlington, NC. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald G. Boulet of Bedford, TX in 2014.

 

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM on June 2 at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the National League of POW/MIA Families or the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
