Brian John Ralph, born January 14, 1935, in Liverpool, England, passed away peacefully at home on May 10, 2025, at the age of 90, surrounded by his loving family and dear friends.

He is survived by his beloved childhood sweetheart and wife of 68 years, Doreen, whom he married on June 30, 1956. Brian leaves behind a beautiful legacy in his children, Jonathan (Eulalia) Ralph and Lorraine (Mark Boyce) Bradshaw; grandchildren Jacqueline (Neal) Siejka, Brian (Taylor) Ralph, Max Bradshaw, and Sophia (Asher Zundel) Bradshaw; and great-grandchildren Grant Siejka and Daphne Ralph.

Growing up during World War II, Brian often delighted family with humorous stories of his boyhood adventures in Liverpool and the love story of meeting his sweetheart Doreen at age 14 (she was 13). His remarkable sense of humor remained with him throughout his life and until his final days, bringing joy to everyone around him.

After completing school, Brian proudly served in the Royal Air Force for two years before beginning a 43-year career in accounting. He started with English Electric/GEC in England, and his intelligence and dedication propelled him into senior executive roles in the U.S., including Vice President and CFO with Alstom in New York and President of Marconi Avionics in Washington, D.C., where he worked closely with the Pentagon.

Brian retired to Florida in 1997 with Doreen—first to Cape Haze, then to Burnt Store Marina in Punta Gorda in 2020.

A devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather and great-grandfather, Brian was treasured for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering interest in others. He left an indelible impression on everyone he met with his trademark wit and generous spirit.

His creativity was evident in his passion for making home movies that captured cherished family moments and their many travels. He and Doreen journeyed the world together, building a treasure trove of memories they shared generously. In later years, Brian rarely missed a Liverpool FC match, his devotion to the club as steadfast as ever.

The family will host a Celebration of Life later this year. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association.

Brian—only love, always. You’ll Never Walk Alone.
