JoAnn Cordova, 73, of Colorado Springs, CO passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025. JoAnn was born on July 11, 1951 in Fuessen, Germany to Donald and Anita (Komander) Shaffer.
She met Paul Anthony Cordova Jr. in Germany and they later married on September 10th, 1973 in Cripple Creek, Colorado.
JoAnn was a devoted Jehovah's Witness.
She was famous for her love of the color red.
JoAnn is preceded in death by both parents, Donald R. and Anita Shaffer of Tacoma, WA, her two sisters, Gabriele Jakubowski of AZ and Carla Larsen of AZ and her daughter Yvette Cordova of Colorado Springs, CO.
She is survived by her husband Paul A. Cordova, Jr., daughter, Yvonne (Billie) Garcia, son Paul (Nicki) Cordova III and son Donnie as well as her 7 grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her sense of humor and laugh will be greatly missed.
