Virginia "Jenna" Lee Oliver
March 20th, 1945 - May 31st, 2025

Virginia Lee Rafail Oliver-Hunt, previously known as Ginger aka Jenna, died unexpectedly at the age of 80 years old on May 31st 2025 in Mesa, Arizona. She had just experienced an amazing trip to Europe and upon her return became ill and was unable to recover from pneumonia.
Born in McKeesport, PA March 20, 1945 to Margarit and Ray Rafail growing up in the Detroit Michigan area with her three siblings. Oldest brother Dan and twin sisters Jackie and Geri Anne.
Her career included Wayne County Board of Commissioners and Wayne County Sheriff's office where she loved being involved in significant public events and politics. Earning her business degree in her fifties and taking an early retirement from the County, she moved to Arizona and worked briefly for Intel Corp.
Survived by her beloved companion Andrew Brown, Daughter- Barbra and son in law John Byrd, Son-Jason and daughter in law Becky Oliver, Father to her two children David Oliver, Grand children: Marida and Lorenzo Lozano, Kayla Byrd, Christopher Byrd and Jamison Oliver, Great grandchildren: Malia, Liam and Myah Lozano.
Preceded in death by her husband Jerry Hunt.
Jenna was most passionate about reading, current events, fashion and beauty...always wanting to look her best and her green thumb abilities taking the most interest in various types of cacti. She was a kind and thoughtful Christian woman who proclaimed God has always taken care of her beyond what she deserved.
Arrangements were made in 2017 when Jerry passed that she would be cremated and laid to rest with him.
The celebration of life service to Honor Jenna will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 11:00a in the Chapel at Sun Lakes United Methodist Church 9248 East Riggs Road, Sun Lakes, AZ 85248
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests gifts be sent to Sun Lakes United Methodist Church in memory of Jenna.
