David Allan Sisson
March 27th, 1945 - May 23rd, 2025
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
David Allan Sisson, born on March 27, 1945, in Tacoma, Washington, passed away peacefully at home on May 23, 2025, in Puyallup, Washington.
He served in the U.S. Airforce as a military policeman from 1963-1967 at both Larson AFB in Moses Lake, Washington and Lackland AFB in Ft. Worth, Texas.
After leaving the service he went to work for United Airlines where he was known as “the legend” after working there for 50 years on the ramp. He was also affectionately called “daddy” and “ no deal Dave”
A kind and loving man,David was not only a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Becky, but also a cherished and loving father to daughters Tammy and fiancé Michael and Amber and husband Dan and a loving stepfather to Colette and David. He found immense joy in being surrounded by his grandchildren—Olivia, Carson, Brady, and Eyan, and great grandchildren Saylem and River. He also embraced his step grandchildren Joshua, Caleb, Sydney, Zach and Allison, and greats James, Isaiah, Jasmine,Jr., Jack, Callum, and Jade. He is also survived by his sister Laurie and husband Ron. His legacy of his quiet love will forever be in our hearts.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Zella and Willis Sisson, and brothers Jim and Phillip, and infant daughter Deborah.
His loves were his family, God, United Airlines, hiking, his dog Max, chinese checkers, shoes, ice cream and diet coke❤️
In celebration of his life, family and friends are invited to gather for a ceremony at Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup, Washington, on June 20, 2025, at 1:30 PM.
A small lunch will be served afterwards at his home at 2308 21st St. SE Puyallup.
David's life serves as a source of inspiration to those who knew him. His kindness, humor, and adventurous spirit will live on in the hearts of all he touched.
