In Loving Memory of Stephen Savage

September 5, 1949 – May 18, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Stephen Savage, who departed this life on May 18, 2025, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.

Steve was born in the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio to Columbus and Polly Savage. He lived in many different states but spent most of his early years in Fort Worth, Texas where he graduated from Paschal High School and later Texas Wesleyan University. Eventually Colorado was his permanent home, where he built a life filled with family, faith, and a deep love for the outdoors.

An avid fisherman and hunter, he found peace and joy in nature. He loved spending time fishing, hiking and hunting with his family.

Steve was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Savage, and now joins her in eternal peace.

Steve was a loving father to Stephanie, Russell, Lydia and Auston, the doting grandfather of Brooke, Olivia, Kyla, Ivy, Chuck, Gemma and great-grandson, Josiah and proud father-in-law of Raul, Justin and Tavie.

A memorial service to celebrate Steve’s life will be held on July 8 at 11:00 AM at Legacy Christian Fellowship, 9200 Hoffman Way in Thornton, Colorado.
