Sherry Ann Lang
November 29th, 1973 - June 8th, 2025
Sherry Ann Lang, beloved daughter, sister, mother, wife, and friend, passed away peacefully in Denver, Colorado, on June 8, 2025 surrounded by family. She was 51 years old.
Born on November 29, 1973, in Northglenn, Colorado, Sherry was the second of four children. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Denver in 1992 and married the love of her life, Chuck Lang, in 1997. Together, they built a home and life in Aurora, raising their cherished twins, Adaline Rascon (née Lang) and Jackson Lang.
Sherry spent over 20 years in the mortgage lending business, where she developed many life long friendships.
She had an unmatched sense of humor, quick with a one-liner, and always able to make people laugh. Sherry was famous for her deviled eggs and had a serious love for pickles. She also never turned down good Mexican food or a comfy pair of vans. She was known to suck her index finger, a quirk her family will always remember fondly.
She adored Tim Curry, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and blasting Sublime. She loved to color, craft, and create. She was the kind of mom who never missed a game, or performance, always in the stands, always cheering. Her dog Fonzie was her constant companion and dearly loved.
She is survived by her children, Adaline Rascon (nee Lang) and Jackson Lang; her husband, Chuck Lang; her father, Ken House; and her siblings, Dana House of St. Louis, MO; Ashley Batchelder (Brad) of Spring Hill, TN; and Jeremy House of Denver, CO. She was a proud aunt to Claudia Heathman, Julie Austin, and Harper Batchelder. She is preceded in death by her mother, Debbie House.
Her family and friends will remember her as wildly funny, endlessly loving, and full of life. The world is dimmer without her, but her light lives on in those who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held on June 13, 2025 in Parker, CO followed by a graveside service at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Sherry by doing something she loved: laugh hard, color outside the lines, or eat a pickle.
