Carol Marie Wicks

Carol M. Wicks of North St. Paul passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 8th, 2025 at the age of 79. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter & Mary Lehman, her husband Jim and  her brother Fred. Carol is survived by her sisters MaryKay Lehman & Rita Leslie (Gene), her children; Jill, Julie (Larry) and Jeff  (Victoria); her grandchildren, Nicole (Anthony), Biancca (Toby), Annika (Keaton), Franchesca (Will), Olivia (Eric), Karly, Justin, Isabella, Emma, Ella, Peter, Katie, Ellie, Mimi & Thomas and her great-grand kids; James, Kameron, Kristian & Noa.

Carol enjoyed baking, planting flowers and she loved Christmas, she especially enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandkids whom she loved so dearly.  She also loved her dog Lucy so much who she would say was her best friend.

Carol was the best mom and grandma, she had an infectious laugh and always had a smile on her face when you saw her.  The love that her & Jim had for each other was so special.  

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A special thank you to Talamore Memory Care Facility staff for taking such great care of our mom as well as Hospice of the Midwest nurses who were amazing.

Visitation 10:00 AM-11:00 AM on Monday June 16th, 2025 at Sandberg Funeral Home, 2593 East 7th Avenue, North St. Paul, MN 55109, followed by a service at the funeral home.  Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 2600 Margaret Street North, North St. Paul, MN 55109. Luncheon will be served after the burial at Sandberg Funeral Home.
