G. Elizabeth Stevens Nicholson
July 15th, 1936 - June 22nd, 2025
G. Elizabeth “Dolly” Stevens Nicholson, of Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025 three weeks shy of her 89th birthday. Born in Brighton, MA, Elizabeth was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose warmth, love, wit and humor touched the lives of many.
Affectionately known to family and friends as "Dolly," Elizabeth had a lifelong passion for collecting dolls and other collectable treasures. She found joy in working on puzzles, mastering Candy Crush, and most of all, spending quality time surrounded by her beloved family. She was a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School in Watertown, MA.
She was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Alice Parker; her husband, Walter Nicholson; her son, Frank Stevens; her grandson, Michael Stevens; her sister, Alice “Tootsie” Peters; and her brothers, Harold “Sonny” Parker, Richard “Dicky” Parker, Alan Parker, and John Parker.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving sons: Kevin Stevens and his wife Susan of Largo FL, Christopher Stevens and his wife Dawn of Hanson, MA, and Sean Stevens and his wife Tina of Hudson, NH, sister Judy Dodd and husband Bob of Weymouth, MA and brother Edward Curley of Providence, RI. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren who will carry her memory and spirit forward.
A graveside service is to be arranged for immediate family and close friends; details to be shared at a later date.
Her love, laughter, and legacy will forever be cherished.
