Terry Wallace Hunt, 72, of Roberta, Georgia, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on the morning of Sunday, June 22, 2025. A funeral service to honor his life will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. The family would like to invite friends to join them for a time of visitation one hour prior to the service. Immediately following, Mr. Hunt will be laid to rest at Parkway Memorial Gardens. Bishop Malik Gordon will officiate the services.

Mr. Hunt was born in Macon, Georgia on May 27, 1953, to the late Mr. Earl Worth Hunt and Mrs. Grace Alley Hunt. He devoted over 40 years of his life to the pipe industry, where he worked as a Production Manager for Diamond Plastics. He later retired from there in January of 2013. His strong work ethic and commitment to the industry left a lasting impact on those he worked alongside, and his legacy in the field is remembered with great respect and talent.

A true outdoorsman at heart, Terry found his greatest joys in nature. Whether hunting or casting a line in the water, he loved nothing more than spending time outside, especially when he could share those moments with his children and grandchildren. His love for camo attire and ever-present hat became something of a trademark—he wore them not just as clothing, but as expressions of a life lived with authenticity and a true love for the outdoors.

Above all, Terry loved his family. They were his pride, his joy, and his purpose. From countless front porch cookouts to quiet evenings spent sharing stories, he poured his heart into every moment with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His devotion to them was unwavering and deeply felt by all who knew him.

Terry’s legacy is one of strength, laughter, and love. He leaves behind a family that will forever carry his memory in the stories they tell, the lessons he taught, the memories they have with him and the deep love he instilled in each and every person who knew him.

He will be deeply missed but remembered always—with camo in the closet, a hat on the hook, and love in our hearts.

Terry is preceded in death by his son, Terry Hunt, Jr. and sister, Gail Jones.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 26 faithful years, Glenda Moore Hunt; children, Jason (Abby) Hunt; Jennifer Bazemore, Vickie Hunt, Franklin Thomas, Jr. (Alice) and Allison Heaver (Rick); sister, Linda Sills; grandchildren, Christopher Hunt, Jason Hunt, Chayla Nobles, Sammy Hunt, Teressa Hunt, Mikayla Hunt, Alley Hunt, Alyssa Bazemore, Kayelynn Bazemore, Robbie Roland, Jr., Tyrec Avant, Dillan Thomas, Ansleigh Thomas, Nolan Thomas, Hunter Duke, Ricky Heaver, Landyn Heaver; great grandkids, Emilee, Valerie, Olivia, Victoria, Kayden, Ella, Elias, Elanora, Kayeson, Jaxon, Oaklan, Keelan, and Elijah; and a host of many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
