Carolyn Judith Scheuer, a vibrant and deeply loved woman, passed away on June 9, 2025. Born in North Dakota, Carolyn made California her lifelong home, spending the majority of her years in the Fairfield and Vacaville areas. She graduated from Armijo High School in Fairfield, California, and went on to live a life full of energy, love, and faith.
Carolyn was known for her joyful spirit and endless enthusiasm. She loved to travel, garden, and decorate—always on the move and always finding beauty in the world around her. Her warm heart, unwavering faith as a Christian, and deep love for her family touched everyone she met.
She will be dearly missed by her children Ashley and Shae, her grandchildren, her beloved partner Jeff Potempa; her brother John “Cory” Reyes; and her sister Michelle Reyes. Carolyn was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, partner, and friend—her presence brought joy to so many.
To know Carolyn was to love her. Her laughter, energy, and kind heart will never be forgotten.
