Barbara B. Campbell

Barbara B. Campbell, 94, a resident of the Home of the Good Shepherd in Saratoga Springs entered into eternal rest on June 21, 2025. Barbara was born in Amsterdam, New York on September 5, 1930 the daughter of the late Robert Hutchison and Anna Burrell. She was a graduate of Wilbur H Lynch High School and Potsdam Teachers College.  She was employed in the Westfield School District in New Jersey as a second grade elementary teacher. Barbara also worked as a travel agent, leading tours to the Caribbean. Barbara enjoyed trips to Europe with her husband Stuart.  She and her husband Bob traveled in their RV to 48 states as well as Canada and Mexico.  Barbara  enjoyed playing the piano and organ.  In her retirement, she also took up painting.

Barbara was predeceased by her first husband Stuart Baker and her second husband Robert Campbell. She was also predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law Phyllis and Donald Parry and her niece Barbara Parry Moran.  Barbara is survived by her loving niece Sharon Parry Sykes, her great nieces and nephews Kelly (Jess) Premo, Jonathan (Cristina) Sykes, Jennifer( Shaun) Burke, Kevin Sykes, Nathan Adams, Ashleigh (Kevin) Adams, and her great nephews and niece Trevor, Declan and Mara.

The family would like to thank the Home of the Good Shepherd for the loving care that Barbara received for over seven years.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 26 at 11 AM in the Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Funeral Home 171 Guy Park Avenue Amsterdam NY 12010.  Burial in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Tribes Hill, New York will follow. Calling hours are from 10 to 11 AM preceding the funeral.

Memorial contributions may be made in Barbara’s name to the charity of one's choice.
