Matías Pacheco, Jr.
August 10th, 1946 - June 15th, 2025
Rev. Matias Pacheco, Jr. (78) was born on August 10, 1946, and left this world peacefully on June 15, 2025. Matias was born in Frederick, Colorado, and graduated from Longmont High School. He served in the United States Air Force from July 1965-May 1969 during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Thailand. He received his major/degree from Rockmont College now Colorado Christian University. He was an ordained minister with The Foursquare Church, leading churches throughout Colorado, and International Pentecostal Holiness Church in Illinois and Colorado. It is fitting that Matias became a pastor as he possessed a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ, biblical knowledge, empathy, compassion, wisdom and love for people. He often displayed these qualities through excellent communication, leadership, organizational skills, and ability to listen and counsel. He depended on God and had a servant heart. Matias was a pillar of strength and support for his family. As a devoted father, he was always present to offer guidance, love, and a hearty laugh. He cherished family gatherings and spending time with his family. In his younger years, he loved to ski and golf. He also loved to go fishing and take long drives in the mountains. Matias loved his Mexican food, especially Huevos Rancheros. He was preceded in death by his parents, Matias B. Pacheco and Estela Del Toro. Matias is survived by his children, Karen, Moses, and Samuel, and his granddaughter, Elisa. He is survived by his siblings, Nick (Connie), Alicia (Richard Aguirre), Gilbert, Rudy (Judy), Robert (Patricia), Michael (Melissa), Mark (Corey), Sabrina, and many nieces and nephews.
