Consepscion Olmos
December 8th, 1955 - June 25th, 2025
It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Consepcion Olmos Rodela (Chonito) who died peacefully at home at 69 years old on June 25, 2025. He was born on December 8, 1955, in Los Lirios Durango, to the late Lazaro Olmos and Francisca Rodela. He married his first love, Marcela Terrazas on June 6, 1975.
Consepcion loved it when his family went to visit him, especially his grandchildren. He was very protective of his family and always worried for their safety. He loved to spend time at his Pajarito Ranch caring for his animals and spending time with friends.
Consepcion was survived by his wife, Marcela Olmos; his children, Sandra Olmos, Paula Carrasco (Carlos Carrasco), Rosa Olmos (Lucas Willis), Mayra Olmos, and Roberto Olmos (Stephanie Davenport); his five grandchildren: Theresa Ibanez, Melissa Ibanez, Eric Carrasco (Rachel Carrasco), David Carrasco, and Sofia Nguyen; his two siblings Maria Del Refujio Olmos and Hermelinda Olmos; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends he loved dearly.
Concepcion is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Lazaro Olmos, Francisca Rodela, Roberto Olmos and Teodosia Albeldano.
Family and friends, whose lives Consepcion touched, are invited for the viewing and to say their goodbyes on July 9, 2025, anytime between 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Riverside Funeral Home located at 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87108
On July 10, 2025, there will be a rosary at 8:15 am and mass at 9:00 am at St Anne’s Catholic Church located at 1400 Arenal Rd SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105 followed by interment at Pajarito Cemetery located at 5807 Coors Blvd SW, South Valley NM, 87105
