Ron Huhn, of Fife, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025.  Ron was born in Seattle on July 12, 1939.  He attended West Seattle High School and a year of college before serving in the Army.

Ron had a passion for cars but was an enthusiastic hobbyist.  He loved working in his wood shop or metal shop building intricate boat models, toys, steam engines, creating art with his scroll saw and even making jewelry.

Outdoors or indoors, Ron was the happiest actively doing something, and roller-skating was where he met Laura in 2004.  They took up rollerblading and kayaking, hiked and camped all over.  He was a kind and helpful man who would volunteer as a camp host at many of the State Parks after retirement.

Ron is survived by the love of his life Laura, his brother Frank, sister Diane, son Ron Jr., daughter Diana, three grandsons, and one great granddaughter.

A celebration of life will be planned for family and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
