Bruce Wayne Walters

Bruce Wayne Walters, 70, of Eutawville, SC, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025.Born November 5, 1954 in Charleston, SC, He was the son of the late Rufus Alton Walters and Lillian Jay Walters. 

Bruce spent most of his life as an auto body repair man, known for his skilled hands and ability to fix just about anything. He enjoyed fishing, racing, music, gardening, and working on projects around the house.

Bruce was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Mildred Ann Geiger Walters, and grandson Alexander Scott Elliott. He is survived by his children, Kim Lesemann and Wayne Walters; grandson Justin Scott Elliott; brothers Al Walters (Debbie) and Ronnie Walters (Claudia); and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren through his extended family.

Later in life, Bruce found great comfort and renewed purpose at Faith Santee Church, where he was welcomed as family. He loved serving his church community in countless ways and cherished the friendships he made there. His strong faith carried him through his final days with hope and peace. 

Bruce will be remembered for his devotion to family, his helping hands, and his unwavering faith. He is now reunited with his beloved wife and surrounded by angels in heaven.

A celebration of life will take place On Friday July 18, 2025 at 2:00PM at Faith Church Santee 9150 Old Number six highway Santee, SC 29142.
