Patrick Henry Bell

Patrick Henry Bell, 62, of Greeley, CO passed away June 12, 2013 at University of Colorado Hospital in Denver. He was born November 11, 1950 in Brighton, CO to Fay Vernon and Irma Mae (Deason) Bell. Patrick grew up in Prospect Valley and graduated from Greeley West High School in 1968. He served in the United States Air Force from 1976-1978 and the Air National Guard until September 1, 1982 when he was honorably discharged. Patrick married Betty Herbst on June 8, 1978. Patrick was an automated equipment mechanic at Kodak for 35 years and retired January 1, 2007. He was a great cook and enjoyed fishing, boating, camping and trips to Blackhawk. Patrick was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and loved spending time with his family. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his kind and encouraging words. Patrick is survived by his wife Betty of Greeley; sons, Aaron (Jen) Bell, Tom (Teresa) Bell, Jeremy (Jaimie) Bell, and Dustin (Amanda Giesick) all of Greeley; daughter, Dawn (Mike) Jacobs of Waseca, MN; 14 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother, Larry (Peg) Bell; sister, Sharon (Harry) Lind; and mother-in-law, Jane Herbst. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Adamson Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.adamsonchapels.com.
