Scott Keith Thomas Sr.
August 4th, 1951 - September 13th, 2023
Scott Keith Thomas, Sr. August 4, 1951, Allentown, PA - September 13, 2023, Lone Tree, CO A beacon of dedication, exploration, and boundless love, Scott Keith Thomas, Sr. passed away on September 13, 2023, leaving a legacy that will be cherished and remembered. Born in Allentown, PA, Scott's life was marked by service, adventure, and profound connections. Dedicated to his country, Scott served honorably in the United States Air Force for over two decades, specializing in communications. Following his military service, he collaborated on military contracts and later founded his own business focusing on wireless communication for telecommunications companies. His passion was further evidenced by his personal hobby as an amateur radio operator with the call sign “KC0OXB”. In every endeavor, Scott approached life with zest and a commitment to excellence. As a private pilot, he navigated the vast skies, with the majestic Colorado mountains being one of his favorite terrains to soar above. On land, he ventured on horseback across the open fields of Oklahoma. His connection to the outdoors was further exemplified by his passion for fishing in streams and lakes across the country and camping under its starlit skies. His warm-hearted nature made him a cherished figure in his neighborhood and within his family. Westlake Village in Broomfield, Colorado, held a special place in his heart. The bonds he forged with his neighbors were deep, and their mutual support defined their relationship. He is lovingly remembered by his son, Scott Keith Thomas, Jr.; grandchildren, Keegan A. Thomas, Jacob S. Thomas, and Sophia Dax Thomas; brother, Richard K. Thomas, Jr.; and sister, Deborah Ann Gaugler. Services are scheduled for Friday, October 6, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Fort Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family wishes to express their deep gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from friends, neighbors, and all who knew Scott. His legacy will continue to inspire, and his memory will forever be a source of strength and love.
