Majid Kereem Holt, a longtime resident of Colorado Springs, died peacefully on March 18, 2024.

He attended Widefield High School. People often referred to him as a gentle giant. Indeed, he was that and a loving son, brother, father, uncle and friend.

He was born August 30, 1972, in Plainfield, New Jersey.  

He will be sadly missed, leaving behind to grieve his untimely death, are his mother, Joette and her husband, Alexander; his sister, Tiffany and her husband, Andre; his brothers, Rhadashi, Bahashim, Ja-nine, and Razeem; his nephew, William and William's son, Adonis. Majid also leaves four children, Gabriel, Alexis, Jalen, and Demarcus; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many loyal friends.

Majid's passions in life were his family, his friends, sports, (as he was a serious Steelers fan) and last but not least, he was a food connoisseur. Majid was a giant of a man in stature, but it was his ever-present smile and compassionate heart that reached most people first.

Majid's work ethic was unquestionable. He played semi-pro football for the Colorado Springs team "The Generals" for a short period of time. He worked as a sports official and also assisted as a defensive line football coach for Vista Ridge High School. He also loved his job as a Security Guard for Cedar Heights.

Majid's greatest accomplishment was his business Bilan/Road Dog Fitness. Don't let his size fool you. Majid got is certification in personal training, sports massage, and neuromuscular therapy. He made it his mission to help his clients achieve their healthy and best lives.

Majid's Legacy will live on through everyone that he impacted. We celebrate him today with a smile and love, knowing that he is resting with God.
