Brad Anderson was born in Davenport, Iowa on July 12, 1983. He died at his home in Mountain Home, ID on December 24, 2023. He is survived by his parents, Joe and Cherrie Anderson of Algonquin, IL and by a brother, Matthew Anderson of Fruita, CO. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Fishing was always a part of Brad’s life. He began his fishing journey at Caruth Park in Dallas, Texas, fishing with one of his grandfathers. He later worked as a sport fishing guide for his uncle and cousin at Nanook Lodge on Stuart Island, British Columbia. Most recently Brad was owner and captain of the F/V Saturday, a salmon trolling vessel based in Sitka, AK. No services are planned. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity in his name.

Our funeral home opened in 2005 when Jerry and Janette Rost purchased the business. We’ve continued to grow along with Mountain Home. Jerry’s career began more than fifty years ago in Boise, and along the way, he acquired an 1897 horse-drawn funeral carriage, which we proudly display in our facility....
