Slvia Mae Wright
December 28th, 1934 - December 8th, 2018
Sylvia was born on December 28, 1934 to Edna and Arthur Crockett of Middleton, Idaho. She attended school at Middleton and on February 5, 1951, she married the love of her life George Wright. After George returned home from the service hey move to a ranch on the Owyhee River in Jordan Valley Oregon. There he started her family, where she home schooled her son. Seven years later her daughter was born. In 1963 they moved there family to Caldwell, Idaho where she remained until the time of her death. Her hobbies included collecting costume jewelry and painting poppies and roses. Her passion was spending time with her family, going on picnics, daytrips and camping. She always put her family first and will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband George. Survivors include her son John, her daughter Celena, one granddaughter, three great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, two nieces, a dear family friend Julie and her beloved cat Shadow. At her request there will be no services.

Today, we continue their mission of providing the finest quality services to all families of the Treasure Valley. Many changes have taken place over the years, including the addition of the Homedale Chapel in 1964. In 1984, Flahiff Chapels expanded its facility with the addition of Canyon and Owyhee County’s first crematory....
