Patricia Jeanne Daniels was born in Pittsburg, PA, to Maxine Granger Daniels and George Anthony Daniels on September 25, 1942, and went to her heavenly home August 2, 2022. After a childhood in Ohio and Houston, she attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, becoming one of the first women to earn a degree in Electrical Engineering from that school. As a senior in college, Pat married Phil Korff, and after graduation, they moved to California where she worked briefly for Westinghouse. She raised bees for honey but quickly took to raising goats. After their divorce, Pat moved to the Central Valley of California where for many years she owned and operated goat dairies in various towns. Her last California dairy was in Stevenson, where she raised and milked about 100 mostly registered goats by herself with only occasional help from younger workers. In 2013 Pat moved to Payette, Idaho, with a few goats, but as her beloved herd continued to increase in number, she had recently decided to cut back and semi-retire. She is survived by her brothers, Neil and wife Peggy, Howard, and Roger and wife Carol and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pat will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She will be buried in a family plot in La Grange, Texas. The family wishes to thank her friends in Payette where she was known as the "Goat Lady," for their years of support and friendship.
