Iva Elizabeth Pierce Haas

On Nov. 2, 1958 she married Dewey R. Haas; they had three children. He preceded her in death. In Oct. of 2000 she was reunited with a lifelong friend, Fred "Tuffy" Abraham. They made their life in Weiser until his passing; she then returned to Payette. She worked at Champion in Weiser for 27 years as a skilled cabinet maker. She enjoyed her garden, her roses, camping and most of all her family. Iva is survived by her daughters, Mille (Ray) Harris and Helen (Mat) Garlock; her sons, Andrew (Kay) Haas, John (Lisa) Abraham, Fred (Ann) Abraham and Arthur (Tammy) Abraham; her sister, Elaine Grout; her brothers, Joseph Pierce and Edward Pierce; 23 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 27 great-great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Heart �n Home Hospice for their excellent care of our loved one. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 29th at Riverside Cemetery, Payette. A memorial will follow at the Eagles Lodge in Payette. Graveside services are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette.
