Earl Wayne Colson
August 8th, 1933 - July 23rd, 2015
Earl Wayne Colson, 81, of Fruitland and formerly of Midvale, passed away July 23, 2015 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday July 31st at Midvale Eastside Cemetery, Midvale. Cremation and services are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Fruitland. Condolences may be made to Earl's family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com. Earl was born Aug. 8, 1933 to Homer W. and Edith H. (Shaw) Colson in Midvale, ID. He attended Midvale schools. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Earl really enjoyed trucks; driving for the county and then driving long haul cross-country. His pride and joy was his 1988 white El Camino "Cowboy". He is survived by his friend and companion, Maxine Byrd and his sister, Lois Colson Blanchard. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jack, Elton, Homer and Ted; and sisters, Clara and Helen.
