Harold Wayne Adler, age 92, of Payette, ID died peacefully November 14, 2023 in Payette, ID. Condolences may be made to Harolds family at shafferjensen.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette, Idaho. Harold was born in Morrison, Oklahoma on September 21st, 1931. He was one of seven children born to Albert and Delila Adler. He attended school in Morrison, OK , before serving in the US Navy from 12/12/51 thru 12/12/55. After leaving the Navy, Harold married Betty Lou Childers. They soon moved to Payette and raised one son, Dennis and a daughter Lorrie. Harold worked as an accountant for Hanigan Chevrolet and Henggeler Fruit Packing Company before retiring. He also served one term as a Payette City Councilman. In retirement, Harold spent most of his time golfing. Three of his cherished accomplishment were shooting three Hole-In-One shots. He is survived by his son Dennis, fiancé Ellen Ingelbristen, his brothers Terry and Jim, and sister Betty. Preceding him in death are his parents Albert and Delila Adler, his wife Betty, his daughter Lorrie, grandson Michael and brothers Robert, Lonny and Edward. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel.
