Marjorie Peterson Marjorie E. (Reetz) Peterson June19, 1921 - March 31, 2014 Marjorie passed peacefully of aged related causes to join her Savior for everlasting joy in heaven. She was born to Clarence and Ruby Stewart in Falls City, Oregon. She was preceded by her first husband Donald J Reetz, her second husband Owen Norman (Pete) Peterson, and son Donald Edward Reetz, and her brother Clarence (Bud) Stewart. She is survived by her four children Dave M Reetz & Kelly G Reetz and spouses of Lebanon, Oregon; Larry B Reetz and wife of Eugene, Oregon and Kathleen B Lloyd of Junction City, Oregon. Nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter. Her brother Conrad Stewart of Eugene, Oregon Marge was always very active in many groups and activities throughout her life. She and Donald began square dancing in1958. Over the years she belonged to several local clubs: Paws and Taws of Junction City, Hymns and Hers, Moose N Mates, and River Road Mixers of Eugene, Willamalane of Springfield. She became a lifetime member of the Single Trees square dance club of Eugene. A 50+ year member of the Junction City Garden Club, Marge loved tending her flowers and gardening. She was dedicated member of TOPS for 38 years and she maintained her KOPS status for many of those years Marge loved to travel and RV enjoying the wonders of many places. Her visits included Alaska, Canada and several of the States. She even made a visit to England and Europe. Throughout her life she was an avid fisherman and loved to hunt. A member of the Junction City United Methodist Church since 1945, she was a member of United Methodist Women and sang in the choir for many years. Viewing will at Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City on Monday April 7, from 1-5 PM. A celebration of life will be held at the Junction City United Methodist Church on Saturday April 12 at 2 PM. Donations may be made in her name to the Junction City Senior Center or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home.
