Phillip Floyd Allen Jr. November 15, 1959 — December 26, 2022 Phillip Floyd Allen Jr. passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2022. Phillip was born to Phillip and Ruby Allen on Johnson Air Force Base, Irumagawa, Honshu, Japan on November 15, 1959. Phillip showed a talent for music at an early age, placing third in his age division at the World Championships in New York City for his accordion virtuosity. This love for music persisted throughout his time at Sahuaro High School and the University of Arizona. He loved to draw, read, write, and was a true movie historian. Phillip's lifelong love and vocation became Software Engineering after receiving his associate's degree in Computer Engineering at Pima Community College in Tucson. He studied advanced software architecture at variegated institutions and worked as a satellite controller for Ford Aerospace, Loral Space & Communications, and Lockheed/Martin. He finished his career at the Pima County Sheriff's Department in Tucson as a software engineer for Database Management. Personally, Phillip was quiet amongst new acquaintances; however, he was well-read on everything from Religion and Science to History and Genealogy, intelligent, and very willing to offer his thoughts on about any topic amongst friends and family. Phillip was a humorous man who never forgot how much fun it was to be a child. His lighthearted nature will be sorely missed by us all. Phillip was preceded in death by his father Phillip and sister Teresa. He is survived by his mother Ruby, sister Denise, brother Craig, niece Deanne Albert (Adam), nephew Mark Reinke (Skylar), and great-nephews/niece Mark, Holly, and Benjamin. A private, graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, January 11th at noon at Cochise Memory Gardens in Sierra Vista, Arizona.
