Christian Gerhard Sorensen of Gilbert AZ passed away on June 28, 2009 in Gilbert he was 84 years old. He was born on August 10, 1924 in Denmark. He raised in family in Nebraska. He is survived by his wife Theresa Sorensen, 78, daughter Melissa (Scott) Fletcher of Gilbert, five grandchildren, Ashley Ruegge, 24, Joshua Ruegge, 21, Elyse Sorensen, 9, Eric Sorensen, 7, and Mark Sorensen 6. He is preceded in death by his two sons: Scott Steffen Sorensen in 1976 and Jamey Lars Sorensen in 2006 A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday July 3, 2009 at 9:00AM at St Anne Catholic Church, 440 E Elliot Rd, Gilbert, AZ .
