Janice Cooper

Janice Brock Cooper of Gilbert passed away on July, 20, 2009 at age 79. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on December 12, 1929. She grew up in Logan, Utah. She married John Richard Cooper on June 12, 1953. Their family moved to Tempe, AZ in 1967. After many years of illnesses, she never lost her sense of humor and kindness for everyone around her. She now can rest with Heavenly Father, her family and loved ones. She is preceded in death by her husband John Richard Cooper in 1995, parents Charles Brock and Carmen Parkinson, brother Richard Brock in 1942 and one great grandchild in 2006. She is survived by sons Richard Cooper of Gilbert, Scott (Carol) Cooper of Gilbert, daughters Patricia (Rod) Brown of Gilbert, Susan (Shawn) Allen of Mesa, Carol (Donald) Hicks of Gilbert, sisters Joanne Rigby, Annette Stringham, Pat Fitzpatrick and Barbara McKenzie. She will be greatly missed by her 22 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday July 25, from 9:00 AM to10:00 AM at the Madera Ward Building, 1150 W. Elliot Rd., Gilbert, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Interment will be at Mesa City Cemetery following services. Arrangements under the direction of Falconer Funeral Home, 251 W.
