Betty McMillan Hodgert of Eugene died Oct. 15 of age-related causes. She was 87. A private family celebration of life is planned.She was born July 7, 1923, in Guthrie, Okla., to William and Lilly Wisecarver McMillan. She married Robert Hodgert on June 22, 1944, in Guthrie. He died Aug. 6, 1965.She graduated from high school in Guthrie in 1941. She worked for an oil exploration crew from 1941 to 1953, as administrative director for Oklahoma Supreme Courts from 1967 to 1975 and as administrative director for the Oklahoma Bureau of Mines from 1976 to 1980.Survivors include two sons, R.H. Tad of Bend and Mike of Eugene; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.A son, Tom Hodgert, died in November 2004.Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene.
