Nutter, Howard Earl Passed away on December 9, 2017, in Mesa. Arizona. Howard was born on November 15, 1930, in Mt.Dora, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents Florence and Edward Nutter. Survived by his sister Peggy Hart of Las Vegas, Nevada, wife of 54 years, Shirley Nutter and three children, Darrell Nutter of Meeker, Oklahoma (Alberta); Ida Jean Petty of Rimrock, Arizona, and Steve Nutter of Winslow, Arizona. (Cindy); 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 niece and 1 nephew. Howard had a very interesting life in Mt.Dora, Florida. He was an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America and completed his first solo flight at age 16, at the Eustis Municipal Airport. In his adult life he served in the U.S. Army during Korean War, moved to Phoenix, Arizona in the 50's. He was employed by Dyna-Tronics, Flight Systems Division Sperry Rand Corporation, and Valley Bank. He relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1975 and final position of 20 years with EG&G Special Projects. When he retired, he relocated to Show Low, Arizona, where he was active in the Show Low Golf Course and the White Mountain Methodist Church, Show Low, Arizona. He was cared for by Hospice of the Valley at Historic Fellowship Square in Mesa, Arizona for the last year. As a ham radio operator, WW7HN (formerly K7GHS), he was President of the Arizona Repeater Association, Copper State Roadrunners, and a member of Navy MARS. Services will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, on Tuesday December 19, 2017 at 1:00 pm.
