Frank Casas Acosta Sr.

It is with profound sadness and the deepest of sorrow that we announce the passing of Frank C. Acosta at the age of 72 on September 19, 2017 in Mesa. Born in the city of Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico, moving from Texas to Arizona in the early 1950's. He attended Westwood High School where he ran cross country and met his future wife, Rosie. Frank and Rosie raised two sons in Mesa where they resided for 50 years. Having recently retired, Frank was employed as a truck driver for Bashas' grocery store chain for 40 years. He also worked as a driver on a part time basis for CPC Logistics Inc. Frank was preceded in passing by his parents, Aurelio and Herlinda Acosta and also by his eldest brother, Uriel and younger brother, Salvador as well as his older sister, Maria Holguin. Frank is survived by wife, Rosie and sons, Frank, Jr. and Richard (Eileen) and one granddaughter, Danielle. Additionally, he is survived by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
