Florence Whipple McGinnis
March 5th, 1927 - April 22nd, 2004
Florence "Flossie" Whipple McGinnis, 77, passed away on April 22, 2004 with her family at her side. She was born March 5, 1927 in Clarkdale Arizona, to Edson Whipple and Clara Porter Whipple. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in numerous callings. Mrs. McGinnis is preceded in death by her parents, and three older sisters, and one grandson. She is survived by Malcolm "Mac", her loving husband of 60 years, sons Andrew Jamie and Danny Nola, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, sisters Norma Abney and Clara Jorgenson. Visitation will be Monday, April 26, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Meldrum Mortuary & Chapel, 52 North Macdonald St., Mesa, Az. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 27, 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Poinsettia Ward, 977 E. Broadway, Mesa, Az. Visitation will be held one hour prior.
