Monty Gail Riggs passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 73 surrounded by his family. Monty was born in Fairbanks, Alaska on April 28, 1950 to Noble (Rusty) and Mildred Riggs. Monty married Barbara Lucas on November 27, 1970. Together they had two children, Monty Lee and Kimberlee. He later married his best friend, Jacqueline Enwiller Gorry, on October 23, 2002. While in high school, Monty learned masonry while working for Clyde (Grampy) Sandoz. He graduated from Coronado High School in 1968 and continued with Sandoz Masonry. Some of his favorite places were the White Mountains of Arizona and the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska. Mostly he loved being surrounded by family and friends.
