GARY LEE MOORE Gary Lee Moore, 69, of Sun City, Arizona, passed away on March 21, 2018 at his home in Sun City, Arizona. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, at West Olive Church of Christ . Burial will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, on Wednesday, March 28 at 1:00 p.m.. Gary was born in Phoenix to the late A J and Elizabeth Alice (Nash) Moore on May 19, 1948. He graduated from Camelback High School in Phoenix and entered the military. He married Rita Williams on March 17, 1972 at Camelback Church of Christ in Phoenix. He attended Maricopa Technical College and Lubbock Christian College. Gary worked as a civil draftsman for over forty years, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He served in the United States Navy for four years aboard the USS Ticonderoga. He was an avid cyclist for several years and enjoyed coin collecting and vintage Mustangs. Gary is preceded in death by parents A J and Betty and brother David Mark Moore. Survivors include his wife, Rita, daughter Julie Uthe (Craig), sons Jeff Moore, Ryan Moore (Michelle), sister Joyce Weems (Danny). Grandchildren Kayla Vance, Dylan Vance, Jacob Moore, Lucas Moore, Liam Uthe, Ava Uthe, Cannon Uthe and several nieces and nephews.
