Yvonne White

Yvonne White 9 July 1975 - 31 August 2023 Yvonne White of Tucson, Arizona, 48 years of age, passed away at home on August 31st, 2023, due to Squamous Cell Carcinoma with metastasis to the bone. She is predeceased by her sister, Sabrina Brass (March 2014) and is survived by her husband, Gerald White (of Tucson, Arizona), sons Jeremy and Jarod White (of Tucson, Arizona), and parents Michael and Elisabeth Sullivan (of Tehachapi, California). Yvonne was born on July 9th, 1975 in San Dimas, California to parents Michael and Elisabeth Sullivan. In her childhood, she grew up with her sister, Sabrina Brass, and best friend, Ruth Faulkenberry. Yvonne graduated from Bloomington High School and lived an adventurous and dynamic life, spending time in many places such as: Bloomington (California), Tacoma (Washington), Woomera (Australia), Cheyenne (Wyoming), Fairfield (California), Clinton (Utah), Misawa (Japan), Biloxi (Mississipi), and Tucson (Arizona). On March 9th, 1996, Yvonne married her loving husband, Gerald, in Riverside, California. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching movies, and being active. In May of 2011, Yvonne, her husband, and two friends, were swept out to sea off the northern coast of Japan while kayaking. All four were rescued a little bit more than 24 hours later by the Japanese Coast Guard. The love for her sons, Jeremy and Jarod, encouraged her to keep going. Although her life was cut short by cancer, Yvonne dreamed of one day building a farm and homestead with her husband. Her proudest accomplishment was being a fantastic mother to both Jeremy and Jarod and being a devoted wife to her husband, Jerry. She loved with her whole heart.
