Justin Gilbert

Justin Gilbert, age 44, passed away on December 3, 2021 at 260 S. Church Tucson, AZ. Justin succumbed to a medical condition while working security for the Tucson Police Department. Justin was born February 09, 1977, at Tucson Medical Center, Tucson, Arizona to Richard and Deborah Gilbert. Justin graduated from Mountain View High School in 1995. Justin furthered his education receiving Associate Degrees in Agricultural Science and Veterinary Technology. Justin was employed by Southern Arizona Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center. Justin and Christine Tarpley were united in marriage August 2000. They were blessed with two daughters, Olivia and Sophia. Justin was very involved as a Coach and Fan of his daughter’s softball teams and more recently in girls wrestling. Justin attended the Southern Arizona Law Enforcement Training Center and was employed by City of Tucson Police Department in 2006. Justin received FTO Training in Division West where he was a Patrol Officer and an Officer in the Bravo Unit of Division West. Justin was later promoted to Detective and served in Investigation Services Division and recently with the Counter Narcotics Alliance associated with DEA. Justin loved his job at the Department and was constantly telling stories of his squad activity and relationships with the men and women that he worked with Justin is survived by his wife Christine, daughters Olivia and Sophia, brother John Gilbert and wife Michelle, sister Kristina Dahl and husband Mark Dahl, Mother and Father Richard and Deborah Gilbert. Grandmother Marcia Schmeling. Nieces, Mikayla Gilbert and Madison Dahl and nephews Jacob Gilbert and Brandon Gilbert. Visitation: December 14, 2021, at Adair Funeral Home, 8090 N. Northern Ave, Oro Valley, Az from: 4 pm to 7 pm. Justin’s Memorial service will be at; Casas Church, 10801 N. La Cholla, Oro Valley, Az. December 15, 2021, at 10:00 A.M.
