John Whiteside John Walter Whiteside was born May 10, 1937 in Innisfail, Alberta, Canada to William and Elisabeth Whiteside. He died on January 29, 2017 of complications due to Parkinson’s. John graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a BA in 1968 and worked as a Safety Manager for Stebbins Engineering and Manufacturing Company. He retired in 1998. He became a United States citizen just last year. He attended Cascade Presbyterian Church for over 20 years. He is survived by his twin brother, Paul Whiteside, and brother Douglas Whiteside, both of Alberta, Canada. Another brother, Cecil Whiteside, preceded him in death three years ago. A Memorial Service will be held at Valley Covenant Church at 3636 West 18th Avenue on February 13 at 6:30 PM. Arrangements entrusted to Musgrove Family Mortuary.
