Vance John Posey

Born in Weirton, WV and also growing up in Tucson AZ, Vance passed away in Tucson at his winter home after a long battle with a heart condition. He was a loving partner to Scott Dressel for 31 years, wonderful father to their son Derek L Martin, and grandfather to their granddaughter Shilee A Martin. He was a treasured son to his surviving mother Eleanor Filler, his deceased step father Richard Filler and his father Vance Posey Sr. Vance was a loving brother to his sister Linda Arnold and her husband Dana, and to his brother Brian Posey and his wife Iva; as well as his deceased sister Debbie. Many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by life long friends Larry and Sharon Fluharty, Sharon preceded him in death. Vance worked for many years in retail and was the office manager for Wheeling Spring Service in Wheeling West Virginia for over 20 years. He helped his partner Scott build and decorate their Bed and Breakfast Inn in Steubenville Ohio, as well as restoring more than 20 other historic homes. We Love you Vance and will miss you greatly.
