James B. McCullough, Jr.
April 18th, 1951 - February 8th, 2024
Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard, but always near, Still loved, still missed, and forever dear.
On Thursday, February 8th, 2024, James “Jim” McCullough, a resident of Beavercreek, Oregon, passed away at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center at the age of 72 following a heart attack on February 5, 2024.
Jim was born in Sacramento, California to James B. McCullough, Sr. and Edwina (Owens) McCullough. James “Jim” attended Our Lady of Assumption, Rio Americano High School, and American River College, all located in the Sacramento, CA area. Jim spent his career happily working as a landscaper, which is of no surprise as he had a lifelong love for nature. Two of his favorite places to visit were Kennedy Meadows and Yosemite in California. He was also a lover of all animals, especially dogs and horses. Jim spent the majority of his life in various areas of Central California before relocating to Clackamas County, Oregon in 2008, a place he loved and never wanted to leave.
Jim is survived by his brother Timothy McCullough, daughter Amy Musgrave, 3 grandchildren: Hunter, Ethan, and Emily, and loving aunt Evelyn Stumpf. Jim was preceded in death by his father James B. McCullough, Sr., mother Edwina McCullough, and brother Patrick McCullough. Jim was also preceded in death in 2020 by his longtime girlfriend of 23 years, Jeannie Martin.
Jim’s family and friends love him and will miss him very much. The family will hold a private celebration of life.
